The past two months has consisted of so much nappy changing, feeding & visiting people that I’ve not had time to sit and blog but I am so happy to announce that we welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world on Tuesday 10th July 2018. He was born at 10.26am weighing 6lb 7oz’s.
There’s simply so much I can rant about when it comes to the topic of social media. I myself grew up in the generation of social media. I believe I was in year 9 at school when I first joined Facebook and it was all fairly exciting at the time. Before that I had only ever had a “Bebo” account. I’m currently 24, an age where I’ve seen social media unfold like it has in front of my own eyes, however I am able to view it differently to lets say a 13 year old, who has grown up with social media always being around.

Such a beautiful day with friends and family celebrating the soon to be arrival of Baby Grice. Jack and I are completely overwhelmed with all the gifts & love. Our baby is so spoilt already!! Here’s my photos from my special day.
20.06.2018 – 37 Weeks Pregnant. Officially classed as “Full Term”
It seems like only yesterday that I saw those two lines on a pregnancy test and now here we are, 37 weeks along and officially classed as full term which means that the baby can come any day. With that being said, I’m a first time mum and I know in most cases babies are usually late and rarely ever come on their due date.
Everything about being a first time mum is daunting. The fear of the unknown leaves so many questions in your head, and what you need to pack in your hospital bag is definitely one of them, (and even knowing when to start packing it).
One of my many cravings whilst being pregnant has been the infamous “school dinner cake”. You know, that delicious spongy cake with icing ands sprinkles. My face would always light up when I saw them in the dinner queue. After searching the shops and failing to find them, I concluded that I’d just have to make them myself which soon became a bit of an addiction as I’ve made four lots within two weeks. (I shared the majority of it, don’t worry). I’ve played around and put my own touch on it and thought I would share the ingredients and instructions with those of you that want to make this yummy cake.
